I initially started this blog as a creative outlet for some of my passions outside of my usual college curriculum. But having since graduated, I am being more intentional in my goal of reaching out to others through the creative process. I am currently a Registered Nurse, and am pursing my Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree to ultimately become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Even though I haven’t been in my profession long, everyday, nursing gives me a reason to not only keep exploring the depths of human anatomy, disease processes, and patient care, but also continuing exploring the depths of myself and hidden talents that I never knew I possessed. I can truly say that I am passionate about my chosen field. In addition to my love of my profession, I am also a lover of coffee, art, and all things aesthetically-pleasing. Though I am undoubtedly a busy woman, wearing many hats including ‘instructor’, ‘chairperson’, and ‘mentor’, I try to take as much time as I can out of each day to enjoy life’s pleasures.
My belief has always been that work-life balance is key to a happy life. Being a nurse can be very exhausting, but with blogging, I find that I am able to share with you guys the things that I love and am most passionate about. With life experience comes lessons and testimonies that I enjoy sharing with each and every one of you. I am blessed to have such a wonderful life full of positivity and support. From art to food to beauty to travel, my hope is that each one of my readers finds something helpful between the lines. I am overwhelmingly inspired by life’s encounters, and my aspiration is to inspire all of you.
