Everyday Neutral Makeup Look ft. BECCA Blushed with Light Palette

A neutral makeup look can often pack a powerful punch. Here’s a quick look at a simple, everyday makeup look using just a few products that you may already have in your makeup arsenal.

For my brows, I typically use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in the shade Ebony. While watching a recent tutorial  by @foreverflawlyss, I noticed that when she did her brows, she used black mascara at the front of her brows to feather them. I decided to give it a try and loved the result. It worked out SO well in my opinion. I feel as if using the ABH Dipbrow Pomade throughout the entire brow can make them look harsher than one would want. Instead, I just used it for about 3/4 of my brow, then use black mascara for the remainder to give them more of a feathered, natural look. I used my e.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara to achieve this look. I also used my e.l.f. Clear Lash & Brow Mascara to blend everything together.

For my eyes, I use mostly neutral eyeshadows of various shades; my  customized Z Palette and my Morphe 35N Palette are perfect for a simple, neutral look for day or night. As far as eyeliner styles are concerned, I’ve come to the conclusion that winged liner does not go well with my eye shape. Especially in pictures, my eyes tend to look smaller and closed off when I do a winged liner, so nowadays, I usually opt for a smooth, everyday line with a very small flick at the end. I find that this eyeliner style makes my eyes look more open. My favorite liquid eyeliner is the Kat von D Tattoo Liner.  I also use my Rimmel London Kohl Kajal pencil in Nude to line my water line to also give the illusion of a larger eye if I’m not applying black liner to by bottom lash line.

The Becca Blushed with Light Palette is a perfect holiday trio to add that subtle flush of color that you’re looking for.

This particular palette features 3 blush shades: Wisteria (matte soft rose), Songbird (shimmering peach), and Snapdragon (luminous coral).

From top to bottom: Wisteria, Songbird, Snapdragon

The shade Songbird mixed with a little of my Maybelline Face Studio Master Hi-Light Bronzer in Deep Bronze goes well with my caramel complexion for a radiant shimmer effect.

For my lip color, I almost always use a brown lip liner, plus Wet ‘N’ Wild’s Megalast Lip Color in Bare It All and Anastasia Beverly Hill’s Lipgloss in Sunset Strip on top (or some sort of colorless/semi-colorless gloss). This combo is my go-to for a neutral look.

Thank you all for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this post, and Happy Holidays! Stay tuned for more posts.
